I really love the intro. It had a nice slow build and I was ready when the guitars kick in. The song has a pretty relentless rhythm to it that’s all kinds of awesome. The vocalist has a higher register than I normally hear in heavy bands like this but there’s enough gravel to his voice that it doesn’t seem off. There’s some heavy guitar riffs and headbanging beats to be had here. I’ll be honest, I didn’t catch a lot of the lyrics but what I did get were pretty damn good.
Would I Listen to More of Their Stuff: Yeah, I would put them on a playlist with Five Finger Death Punch, Black Label Society and Motorhead.
Who They Are: Methane is a four piece Southern Metal band from Sweden. Formed by Tim Scott former bassist of (Revenant – Nuclear Blast and Hateplow – Arctic/Pavement feat. Members of Cannibal Corpse) and Jimi Masterbo former ( Hell Patrol guitarist ) along with Tim’s brother ,Dylan Campbell ,and Andreas Strom on drums.
