I like the general flow and feeling of this song. It’s got an awesome dark vibe that is really working for me. The rap that overlays the music is a bit different from what I’ve heard before. I like the lilt to the rappers voice. Despite the overall darkness of the sound I actually found his voice to be somewhat comforting in the deep end of the pool that is the music. Initially I thought this was going to be an instrumental or maybe ambient song, however I was wrong on that one. The piano work is amazingly well done. It sets the pace for this song since there is a lack of drum work. I’m fairly confident the rest of the music is done via synth though I wouldn’t bet my left little toe on it.
Overall I liked the song. It made me rather curious about the other stuff The Wigg Head has done. I think I’ll have to check it out and see what else this guy has to offer. I’m not sure that I would download the song, but that is straight up a personal preference. I don’t really have any thing I could match it with at the moment, but in all honest I’m sure it would groove well with some other slower rap styles.
