If pushed I would call this an ambient piece. Not just because it doesn’t have lyrics, but the vibe of the whole track is very zen I think. It start out with this very epic feel with the big thunder drums and deep full string sounds. It’s got some very exotic sounds weaved through out the song that are just fun to hear. I can see this as a soundtrack piece for all kinds of movies depending on where in the song you pulled from. Space exploration to a harem dancing for their sultan. Lots of good mental visualization is brought about by the movements here.
I liked this song quite a bit. I would love to download it and put it on my phone so I could listen to it while soaking in a tub. Possibly at night before going to bed because the ending is so mellow. I don’t have much music like this so I can’t say where I would put it on a list. But I was thinking it might be nice to build a ‘bubble bath’ list and then I could put this on it!
Who They Are:
Trevor Barr has his musical beginnings in church & school choirs in the 1980’s. In 1985 Trevor auditioned for the elite Toronto Children’s Chorus Choir and was accepted for the season of 1986-1987. Trevor’s father had a vast collection of late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock that was a daily digest growing up. Trevor had his first guitar given to him in 1991 and it was a piece of crap that fell apart in 3 days. Trevor ended up working 7 paper routes in the summer of 91 to earn his first Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite. And from that year forward Trevor dove into guitar head first.

He has written music for two TV shows in 2012 and 2013. The show is First Century Foundation which airs on CTS & Miracle Channel as well as Fishful Thinking Show – Global and TV Tropolis. Both shows feature Trevor’s signature sounding guitar playing.
New for 2014 Trevor has written music for the TV show – Israel The Prophetic Connection for Season 5. These shows start to air October 2014. This music is largely keyboard driven. Check out the ambient sounds Trevor has recorded for this series this fall!
