Don’t be fooled by the slow intro with the piano. This song is not a down tempo piece at all. It has a nice poppy upbeat rhythm going for it. However I gotta say I’m not a huge fan of synth backing music. Often times I find it distracts from the vocals a lot. In this case it seemed to flatten out the vocals and that is a crime in my book. Yulianna has a rich vocal style that I think would work really well with a live band.
I’m curious to see if Yulianna has any songs with a band backing her. I would love to hear that. I can’t see myself putting this track on a list because honestly it just wasn’t my thing.
