Cranberry Flick – That Man

Well, what do you know? As it turns out I like jazz! This song is so much fun to listen to. I love that rhythm it’s very retro. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure there is some scat work going on to. I enjoy that vocalists sweet tones. This song is so damn refreshing, it’s certainly not something you hear every day. The horn work is really well done and overall the song makes me think of every period piece I’ve ever seen, but Dick Tracey is what really comes to mind.

I plan to get this song. I have a rather small playlist with bands like Rev. Horton Heat and Brian Setzer that this would work so well with. If you’re into Jazz or just old timey sounding tunes you need to do yourself a favor and check them out. I’m already listening to more of their work and I can’t say I’ve been disappointed.
