Romantic Rebel – Dirty Love Song

I need to see Romantic Rebel tour with Halestorm! This song is amazing. I’m loving the seriously up tempo beat on that drum line. Those drums hit heavy and hard with a constant vengeance. The guitar work is something to be marveled at with those blazing fast licks. There are some amazing solo’s that really show off what this cat can do. But with all that I’m most taken with the vocals. This chick can wail! She has a great sense of timing and connection to the lyrics. Plus she’s got an awesome powerful 80’s scream that you just have to hear to believe.

I want to download this to my server and to my phone. The production needs to come up just a touch on the top end I think. But in the overall who cares. This band rocks the ass in every way possible. I would pair this track up with some Halestorm, In This Moment, Forever StillStitched Up Heart and Diamante. All these bands have incredible female lead singers backed by truly awesome musicians.

Who They Are:

Chicago’s Romantic Rebel delivers a brand of female fronted hard rock with unparalleled, explosive energy that has been taking the scene by storm.

Formed in 2012 by siblings KT Paige (vocals) and Alex Vincent (guitar), the band quickly recruited Danny D (bass) and Marcus Lee (drums) to form what would become Romantic Rebel.

Becoming a promotion machine, the group immediately started booking shows and distributing free music to start gaining fans.

Their rapidly growing fan base demanded more music from the group. The band entered the studio in late 2013 with renowned producer Ulrich Wild to record their debut album in Los Angeles, CA. The album was completed and released on April 29th, 2014 via Pavement Entertainment/Sony RED, being named Revolver magazine’s ‘Album of the Week’, only days after its release.

Their self-titled debut is a modern rock anthem with some throwback vibes blending female vocals with classic overtones, which has given Romantic Rebel an upper hand to the seemingly stale rock scene. A hybrid of modern and classic elements has turned the heads of fans and critics alike.

After playing numerous regional shows, the band started touring on a national level, supporting acts such as: All That Remains, Sevendust, Asking Alexandria, Avatar, Crobot, Nonpoint, Otherwise and Like A Storm. As well as landing a spot on Wisconsin Metalfest and Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin. In the Summer of 2014, the band embarked on a 4 week tour with Bobaflex, as well as a national headlining tour.

To ring in the new year, KT was chosen by Revolver Magazine to be featured in their January 2015 issue as the Hottest Chick in Hard Rock and Metal.

The band’s newest single, “Believe” will be heading to radio this January, spreading the Rebel epidemic nationwide.

Recently signing with TKO, the band plans to actively tour in the upcoming year.

The Band is:

KT Paige: Lead Vocals
Alex Vincent: Guitar and Backing Vocals
Danny D: Bass
Marcus Lee: Drums
